Looking to get your ski season started, but haven't gotten a weekend free?  Maybe you just bought some new gear but haven't had a good chance to try it out yet?  Need give your legs a change from couch-lounging to ski touring?  The ACC is holding its first ski touring night next Monday at the Edmonton ski club!  Volunteers will be on hand to assist participants with equipment questions, provide motivation, and coach you on your technique!

The third event will be held on Monday, January 11 at the Edmonton Ski Club (9613 96 Avenue).  Join us at 7 PM at the bottom of the T-Bar.  We'll lap this run (the largest vertical available) for as long as our legs last (or until 9 PM).

We're changing the pricing structure for the new year!  ACC, UAOC & ESC members may participate for free; non-members will be charged $10.  This fee covers snow-making courtesy of the Edmonton Ski Club, and also covers the electricity cost to light the run.  If you would like to take advantage of free participation, please bring one of the following proofs of membership:
  1. ACC Membership Card
  2. Emailed Receipt for Membership Purchase (can bring on a smartphone, or a hard-copy)
  3. UAOC or ESC Membership Card

These nights are an excellent opportunity to get some time on your skis.  No matter whether you just started ski touring or are an experienced skier looking to work on your fitness, there will be something for you at this event.  We look forward to seeing all of you out there!
